The basic expectations of being a Christian involve what you

• do (see James 2:17)

Being a church member involves three dimensions:

• UNIVERSAL church
• DENOMINATIONAL church
• LOCAL church

We are asked to be loyal to Christ through the United Methodist Church in five ways - by our:

• Prayer (see Ephesians 6:18-19)
• Presence (see Hebrews 10:25)
• Gifts (see 1 Corinthians 16:2)
• Service (see 1 Peter 4:10)
• Witness (see Acts 1:8)
